My mum's birthday. Woke up late, went for CCA. At night my dad brought the family to the Swissôtel Merchant Court for dinner. The food there was r-e-a-l-l-y good. XD. Especially desert....yum. Well anyways, I gave my mum the Haruhi figurine i bought at China Square Central and guess what? She liked it! lol. Now that's $12 well spent. ^.^



14 NOV 2007
My mum took leave today to bring me to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority to make my Identification Card. Went early at 9am so we finished in less than 15mins. After that went down to Bugis Junction to get a new phone. When we arrived the shops still weren't opened so we went to starbucks~



When the shops opened went to check out M1, Singtel and Starhub. At first my Mum said that she would sign me up for a student plan(she'll pay the monthly bills) and I'll pay for the phone. I was okay with the plan, but when I saw the prices of the phones I wanted I was like WTF-DESU!(FYI:My budget was $100 and most of the phones I wanted were way above it.). Then my mum said that if I were to wait for her contract with starhub to expire, which is in March'08, she would pay for my phone. I did some maths and found that if I were to get a phone by re-contracting my mum's line before it expires and Pay just $100(the penalty fee). It'll be a much better deal so I went for it. And guess what? Because my mum signs up for all 3 starhub services(and also because it was her birthday month), starhub decided to waiver the $100 fee! I so <3 Starhub now. lol. I chose the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic Phone(which my mum paid for) and decided to spent $68 on a 2gig microSD card instead. yay!

So yeah, I paid $68 for my phone! ^.^

After getting the phone, met up with grandma. We dropped by at kinokuniya because I wanted to get a "Learn Japanese CD". I got the Collin's Phrasebook, hope it helps. lol




At Kinokuniya I saw the cover of the 1st volume of the Haurhi Suzumiya Manga. I got my mum to buy it (saying it would improve my Chinese) but there was the label "unsuitable for the young" on it. RAWR!!





My mum was feeling generous so she bought me 2 pencil cases. XD



After lunch I met up with Aqil, Ryan, Ho Sung, Han Zi and Chun Hao. Went to Otaku stores~ at VivoCity and China Square Central. Ryan bought Shakugan no Shana chibi figurines at Vivocity and a $12 Haruhi PVC Figurine. The rest of us bought nothing. T.T I wanted to preorder the $55 Haruhi figurine for ToysNToys, BUT THE PREORDER DATELINE WAS OVER!! NOOOOOOO! At around 430pm we had tea and then it was time to go home.

We took the long route 'coz we wanted seats (1.5hour trip...). Ho Sung wanted to make a NETS card so Haniz and I followed him. But the bank was closed. (*laughs at hs) Ho Sung and I bought crystal cases for our phones at a nearby store. I kept getting the auntie to give me a new piece because I'm rather particular about scratches and stuff =P.

Went home, crystal case broke.

End of day.
